Resting up

And some high-stakes tennis

Ed and Ro mostly rested at home today. His tummy / GI tract are still a little off.

They took in the Australian Open women’s singles final tennis match. Elena Rybakina (the 5th seed, from Kazakhstan) outlasted the favored Aryna Sabalenka (the #1 seed, from Belarus), 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. I’m told Rybakina was down 3-0 in the final set when she rattled off 5 straight games, then lost one, then closed out the win...with an ace! Dwama! I’m sure much full-throated (Ro) and hushed-raspy (Ed) cheering was carried out at the Frichies’ home…

They were both able to join our weekly Zoom PodQuiz hang. Ed contributed a lot, including figuring out the connection among a group of songs.

Another day of healing is in the books!
